Yolanda went above and beyond for me at my wedding. We booked her with less than a 48 hour notice prior to my wedding. She did an amazing job on mine and my bridesmaid's hair. I've never had my makeup done professionally so I thought what better day to have it done than on my wedding day. Yolanda did my makeup for my special day and she did a fabulous job! She was very friendly, professional, and helpful. She stayed after she did my makeup to help me get ready and helped me with my accessories. It felt like she was a member of the family. I love that she is mobile and will come to you! I'd highly recommend her if you want to look beautiful and have less stress on your special day.

Yolanda was sweet, wonderful, and very professional! My bridesmaids and myself were so grateful she traveled 2.5 hours to come do our makeup and hair and we felt BEAUTIFUL! She was amazing with our tiny flower girls and brought plenty of clips to help secure their flower crowns. She came more than prepared with lipstick for purchase as well as a gorgeous hair clip for myself. She arrived right on time and was finished by the time she said. We kept in contact leading up to the day so I found her very reliable and friendly. Yolanda is easy to get along with and was very responsive to my specific requests. I showed her a picture of my dream hairstyle and she had no problem creating the beautiful style. Thank you so much for coming out to our rural elopement!

I prefer a natural look and she started my makeup out light and made sure I was comfortable in my own skin as she gradually made it darker. She did my hair exactly as I wanted as well and it’s easy to tell she knows what she is doing. I felt 100% confident in her hands. She offered to stay for touch ups but I opted out of that, she sent my girlfriend to my wedding with tools to retouch if needed. I got overwhelmed by the amount of people talking at me at once and before she left she took my hand and reminded me to relax, enjoy the moment and take it in: that was amazing. Can’t recommend her enough!

 

 

 

 

I don't even know where to begin to write about the amazing service That I received from Yolanda @ Primadonnamakeover. She was beyond fantastic, it was like having your best friend there to help you get ready. She not only does amazing Fantastic makeup & hair, she calmed my nerves, cheered me up when it was raining the morning of my wedding, and was just a calming force to be around. She showed up the morning of my wedding and quickly went to work prepping the girls hair. I had a vision of what my hair to look like, but never done a trial run. Yolanda nailed it better then what I would have envisioned. I could go on and on about Yolanda and the Fabulous service I received. Yolanda is absolutely incredible! I went with the bride to her trial appointment and Yolanda was incredibly attentive to what the bride wanted and gave the bride a lot of great tips to ensure her makeup and hair would really stand out in pictures. Yolanda was super easy to work with on the wedding day. She arrived on time (at 6:30 am !) and stayed for several hours to help touch up makeup after the ceremony and before the reception. She not only had the bride looking incredible but all of the bridesmaids and the mothers of the bride and groom as well. She gave clear instructions on how to touch up the makeup after she was gone and left blotting papers as well. If nothing else, Yolanda teared up at the sight of the bride, which shows me that she really loves what she is doing. Hair and makeup for special events like this is truly her passion. I think it is a little hard to believe but I'm still getting compliments for the amazing job she did. Yolanda & team showed up on time worked on myself and my bridesmaids. OMG My hair was amazing! I recently hired Yolanda to host a spa party for my daughter's eighth birthday. It was absolutely amazing. She showed up early to get ready and decorate. As the little girls showed up they were given robes and headbands to pull their hair back. They were then treated to chocolate facials. They then had their nails painted, made lipgloss and applied perfume. They were in heaven!!! So cute. I have to also add it's the first time as the mom I have ever been able to sit down and enjoy the party. I had time to take pictures and enjoy the moment because Yolanda did it all. I highly recommend it and although it may seem a little expensive I countered the cost by limiting it to close friends, making cupcakes and providing finger foods. In the end it was less expensive and more fun then most of the parties we've had in the past.

We did a lipstick party for my daughter and her friends and it was fantastic. Yolanda was very professional, arriving early, setting up and letting the girls have lots of fun and get really involved in the process. I was frankly a little wary of the whole idea. But this group of 9 high school girls *loved* it. It was the most successful birthday party we've ever done.

Yolanda made it great, low-key (for us) and took care of all the details.

She also totally gets the needs of the Instagram generation, stopping at Instagrammable moments to ask the girls if they wanted to get a shot of their color being mixed, or the lipstick coming out of the mold, and even suggesting the best angle for different photos.

And she stayed calm and patient despite loud music, dancing and lots of "Wait, maybe I want it a little bit pinker..."

For us, she was hyper thoughtful about making sure that any stray bits of the color immediately got wiped off our white kitchen counter. She stayed with the girls for 2 1/2 hours and then packed up leaving everything neater than it had been before.

Yolanda was fantastic. Despite the rather treacherous thunder storms (and impacted road conditions), she arrived promptly at 5am (morning wedding) and was totally ready to do hair and makeup for my mom, sister, mother-in-law, and me.

I don't usually wear much makeup so I was a bit tentative about how it would turn out (I didn't have a makeup trial) but Yolanda understood my need to "look like me". The makeup lasted throughout the day and I always felt like me; and the pictures show me (with flawless skin - who knew makeup could do that?!). Considering that I wore my glasses during the wedding, I really appreciated that Yolanda was able to highlight my eyes and didn't suggest that I put in contacts (a previous hair/makeup person had been horrified that I was planning to wear my glasses).

My hair was exactly what I had been wanting - and it lasted throughout the day despite riding in the car, taking the veil out/off, hail, rain, dancing, and lots of hugging.

Yolanda helped ensure that the wedding day go smoothly - her skills and technique, as well as calming and engaging presence, were exactly what was needed to start the day. Thank you!

Yolanda and Brooke traveled to Pacifica to do hair and makeup for me and my wedding party. They were both incredible! They became a part of our family for the day. They were funny, smart, and professional.

Yolanda did an exquisite job on makeup for me and six other girls. (There were originally only four girls scheduled, but Yolanda and Brooke were very helpful in including my aunt and sister-in-law as well. ) Yolanda provided us with great tips and makeup techniques as she worked on us individually.

Brooke was a true talent. She gave my maid of honor, sisters, and mother gorgeous hairstyles.

I highly recommend Yolanda and her team. Not only are they amazing at what they do, but they are incredibly fun to work with as well.11

My wedding was sort of out in the middle of nowhere, so I needed on-site services. I had a really hard time finding any vendors that weren't going to charge me an arm and a leg for this, and then I stumbled across Yolanda. Definitely the most reasonable pricing I found, and definitely didn't have to compromise in quality! My hair and make up exceeded my expectations and she did all of my bridesmaids on the day of and they all looked so beautiful! Yolanda is a pro, she's completely prepared and went above and beyond the duties of a make-up artist and hair stylist. Additionally, she is a great addition to a fun group of girls! I would highly recommend. I am so glad I used her for my wedding!

I hired Yolanda to do my hair/makeup for my wedding. Yolanda has been fabulous from day one. I found her on yelp and after reading the reviews and looking at her amazing website I reached out to her. I would say I am highly organized person normally but planning my own wedding by myself I have found that I am a very all over the place bride. Yolanda is prefect because she is experienced and very organized and she has worked with me every step of the way. She came out to my house two weeks ago and spent the afternoon working with me to find the prefect hair and makeup for my wedding. It was the first time I really felt like a bride. She made me feel comfortable and it really felt like I was hanging out with a good friend. She is so passionate and caring and really wants to make sure the bride is taken care of. I am a licensed NY State Esthetician, I work with a French skin care and Make Up Brand Votre Vu, I called Yolanda and asked her if she would fly out to NYC, and come do a make over demonstartaion for Brides using the French Accents by Votre Vu. The corportate event was March 2014. In a room filled with 45 women, some were brides to be, others were Professional Make up artists, wanting to learn about Votre vu. I found Yolanda, to be very easy to work with, friendly and Professional. I had been watching her posts on Facebook, of her brides, and each time, I have been awed by her work. My daughter's hair and make up was EXACTLY what she wanted for her wedding day. The bridesmaids hair and make-up all looked stunning (eight bridesmaids and one flower girl). Yolanda and her assistant did it all, starting very early in the morning. This was the best money spent on the wedding. I recommend her 100%. Yolanda is a wonderful, calming person to work with especially when everyone is a bit nervous and anxious on the big wedding day.
